This is an easy cache for Motorway travellers. The location is a
small secluded woods adjacent to the M4 Motorway Junction 17
(Chippenham). If you are looking for a beautiful place, don't
bother. If you want an easy and very fast diversion from a boring
journey, this is for you.
As you approach the cache, just past the Low bridge signpost
(when one hundred yards from the cache) turn left into a tiny
unsigned road. Park just after the signposts and then enter the
wood near the No-entry sign. Do not try to approach from the main
road. You'll regret it!
The cache is in a large black cylinder. Please replace the lid
carefully to keep it watertight (using the handle helps). To exit
this road, carry on past the garage and turn right and right. It's
a round trip of a few hundred yards back to the Motorway.
If you need reasonably priced petrol or refreshments, then
follow the A350 South towards Chippenham for 5 minutes where you
will find a large Morrisons Supermarket with it's own cafe and
petrol station (after the dual carriageway, at the roundabout turn
right).
