Deze cache doe je bij voorkeur per fiets of per auto gecombineerd met een korte wandeling.
Aangezien je enkele malen vlakbij een straat staat, raad ik mensen met (kleine) kinderen aan, hen goed in de gaten te houden. Het is al te makkelijk om hen tijdens het zoeken van gegevens even uit het oog te verliezen...
Begeef je nooit op privé-terrein. Alle waypoints en de cache zijn toegankelijk via wegen en/of paden.
Ga niet naar bovenstaande coördinaten ! Er is daar niets te vinden.
Lees aandachtig het volgende en probeer uit te vissen waar je wél moet zijn :
Op de noordelijke grensscheiding van Kemzeke en Sint-Pauwels,
gehucht Heerweg, vindt men een 'driehoek' waarop twee kapelletjes
staan. Zij werden gebouwd tengevolge van een hoogoplopende ruzie
tussen de kerkgemeenschappen van beide dorpen over de offergelden.
Waypoint 1
Als je weet welke kapelletjes in bovenstaande paragraaf bedoeld worden, ken je meteen het punt waar je je naartoe moet begeven. Daar aangekomen, zoek je in de directe omgeving een infobord. Vind de regels waarin volgende woorden voorkomen (titel niet meetellen ) :
- "brutaliteit". Regel is AB.
- "Heerwegsch". Regel is C.
- "voorwaarde". Regel is D.
Stel X gelijk aan ABCD - 1300.
Op welk kapelletje hangt er een straatnaambordje ?
- het kapelletje met open kruis : Y = 932
- het andere : Y = 753
Waypoint 2
Rijdt nu naar N51° (B + C - 1).X E4° 0(A + C + 1).Y
Als je met de auto gekomen bent, vind je er vlakbij voldoende parking. Van hieraf ga je dan te voet verder. Fietsers kunnen de volledige tocht uitrijden.
Zoek op WP2 wanneer Leon Temmerman is gestorven. Het jaar waarin hij stierf is gelijk aan EFGH.
Waypoint 3
Dit WP vind je op N51° (B + C - 1).(D - C)(F - E - G)(H - C) E4° 0(A + C + 1).(BCD - 4)
Hoeveel (ronde) stalen ringen zitten er om de schouw ? Dit aantal is gelijk aan I.
Waypoint 4
Ga naar N51° (B + C - 1).(I * 72) E4° 0(A + C +1).F(B - D)(B - D)
Er is daar iemand verdronken. Maar in welk jaar ? Het jaartal is JKLM.
Cache
Nu heb je voldoende gegevens om de cache te vinden. Die bevindt zich op N51° (B + C - 1).H(K - C)C E4° 0(D - C).(L - B)(LM + 4)
Om de cache te openen moet je behoorlijk wat kracht zetten.
Sluit na het loggen het doosje a.u.b. terug goed af door stevig op de vier hoeken te drukken en verstop het zoals je het vond.
Veel op het gebied van geocaching is er niet mogelijk in dit gebied maar met deze cache wou ik jullie toch een paar interessante plekjes laten zien. Ik hoop dat jullie er wat plezier aan beleefd hebben.

It's preferable to do this cache by bicycle or by using your car + feet.
As you'll be standing right by a street a couple of times, I advise people with (small) children to keep a good eye on them. It's only all too easy to forget about them whilst looking for clues...
Never enter private properties. All waypoints as well as the cache are accessible by roads and/or paths.
Don't go to the above coordinates ! There's nothing to find there.
Carefully read the following and try to fathom where you do have to go to :
On the northern border between Kemzeke and Sint-Pauwels,
hamlet Heerweg, one finds a 'triangle' on which stand two
little chapels. They were built as a result of a serious
quarrel between the church communities of those two villages
about the money put in the offering box.
Waypoint 1
If you know which chapels I'm talking about in the above paragraph, you also know the point where to head to. Once there, look for an info panel in the immediate vicinity. Find the lines featuring the following words (not including the title) :
- "brutaliteit". Line is AB.
- "Heerwegsch". Line is C.
- "voorwaarde". Line is D.
Let X be equal to ABCD - 1300.
Which chapel carries a street name sign ?
- the one with open cross : Y = 932
- the other one : Y = 753
Waypoint 2
Drive/ride to N51° (B + C - 1).X E4° 0(A + C + 1).Y
If you came by car you'll find plenty of parking space nearby. From there on you have to continue on foot. If you came by bicycle, you can ride the rest too.
At WP2, look up when Leon Temmerman died. The year in which he died is EFGH.
Waypoint 3
You find this WP at N51° (B + C - 1).(D - C)(F - E - G)(H - C) E4° 0(A + C + 1).(BCD - 4)
How many (round) steel rings are there around the chimney ? The number you see equals I.
Waypoint 4
Go to N51° (B + C - 1).(I * 72) E4° 0(A + C + 1).F(B - D)(B - D)
Someone drowned there. But in which year ? The year is JKLM.
Cache
Now you have enough information to find the cache, which is located at N51° (B + C - 1).H(K - C)C E4° 0(D - C).(L-B)(LM + 4)
To open the cache may require a bit of force.
After logging, please close the box firmly by pressing on its four corners and hide it as you found it.
When talking about geocaching, not a lot is possible in this area but by way of this cache I think I was able to show you a couple of interesting places anyway. I hope you liked it.
