Geocache Description:

Located on Burlish Top between Kidderminster and Stourport

The site was the 297th US army hospital during WWII, then known as Burlish camp. After the war it was used to house Polish refugees until its closure in the 50's. Many of the service roads are still visible but the buildings long since gone, with trees now growing through the foundations.

There are superb views over the Severn valley looking north towards Clee hill and Brown Clee hill at N52ยบ12.911' W002ยบ16.834'

There is suitable parking at either end of the walk.

The cache is a small clip lunchbox and is only suitable for small objects.
Please rehide carefully
