Cool Librarian: Yep, it's gone. Wow, I have lost 3 caches in the past few weeks. I'm archiving this, but there's plenty of space for a replacement that is hopefully a little further away from the cruise action. Peace.

Geocache Description:

This is a "replacement" cache for the plundered Blue Bell - though it isn't in the same location. A traditional cache classically hidden.

Please note that this cache location has had some heavy cruising action recently! If this concerns you, please try to hunt this early in the am and avoid lunch and dinner times. If you encounter "characters" at the parking location, you can try again another time, or plan to go at low tide so that you can enter the grove further down by crossing the stream. Please do not access cache if muggles are within sight - that's how it was plundered last time. Please do not leave TBs here as this cache is in a high-plunder zone! Thanks!

I really enjoyed the Blue Bell cache and visited it a few times. The Cove in Portsmouth is a great spot to kayak, and I do so here often. There is also fishing and clamming/quahogging done here - check the RI DEM to see if the spot is open for shellfishing (it usually is) before you go digging. The Cove is also the launch site for my Kayak Cache Spectacle Island - Kayak Cache #1 which is located just a couple hundred yards offshore. Come by and check them out!
