This is a cache made by kids for kids. It’s an ammo can a short easy walk from the parking spot.
This cache is located in the northwest part of Riverside State Park near Spokane. It is an ammo can painted brown with spots like Scooby Doo, thus the theme, Scooby Doo Where are you? It is just about 0.2 miles actual walking distance from the parking area located at N47 45.497 W117 33.599. Please do not block the gate while parking as the ranger may leave you a present in the form of a ticket! We ask that you try and keep the Scooby Doo theme when taking and replacing items! The walk is very easy going down the trail. It’s pretty easy going off the trail towards the cache, just a short uphill hike, but I gave it a 1 ½ to be sure!
The original contents, are numerous Scooby Doo related items for kids!
The coordinates were taken with a Garmin Map76s on a clear sunny day with an accuracy of about 20 feet. There are several other easy caches in this area that you may also like to visit, one of them being ours!
