Geocache Description:

Located just south of Garden Corners at the Garden Township Roadside Park, this multi should be a quick find. Ozzie Hazen's son Milton was a Garden Peninsula commercial fisherman who drown while pulling his nets. The park was deeded to Garden Township so long as it is maintained as a park. If it ceases to be a park, the land will revert to the DNR.

The park has received some nice upgrades over the years. Check out the beautiful butterfly bench near Stage 1.

Take time to enjoy the wonderful view of Big Bay de Noc. In keeping with the park’s name, we’ve placed some fishing-related items in the cache. Stage 1 is a plastic pill bottle with coordinates to the second cache. Stage 2 is a small ammo box. The rising waters of Lake Michigan forced us to relocate both stages. The final container stayed dry even though it had obviously been rocked by some big waves. Good thing it was chained in place.
