Sac Bay Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This large Delta County park borders both Sac Bay and Big Bay de Noc. The view of the islands off the tip of the Garden Peninsula is fantastic and definitely worth the drive down the peninsula. Take time to explore the park, then head to Fairport to get a closer view of Little Summer Is. and more lovely views of the bay.
Wear boots to take a walk along the stony beach when it’s wet. Should be easy walking but the cache is a short distance into the cedars so mark your direction/distance because losing satellite reception is a distinct possibility. There are lots of hiding spots and we’re not giving any clues, hence the difficulty rating.
The initial contents of this small ammo box include a doll, plastic spring clamp, a plank walker elephant (put it on an inclined board and it will walk down), UP copper crystal, small measuring tape, a couple fridge magnets, Alien’s Adventure TB, and log book and pencil.
