Simply Paul: Yep, that's muggled! I'll try to recover the remains once I know where they are. As I was never 100% happy with the hide, it's time to let this one go. Thanks to everyone who found it, and sorry to those who didn't.

Geocache Description:

The Ridgeway National Trail is an 85 mile long path, following a prehistoric chalk ridge route. It runs from Ivinghoe Beacon near Aylesbury to Overton Hill near Avebury. All sections can be walked and others, listed as Bridleways, can be cycled and ridden too. This series of caches was placed as a power trail to draw responsible cachers to this amazing and ancient right of way. Learn more here.

Format: THE ABOVE CO-ORDS ARE FOR A POST BESIDE THE TRAIL.
AT ITS BASE IS A PLATE WITH 5 DIGITS ON IT: AABCD.
THE CACHE IS HIDDEN WITHIN 50FT (15M) OF THE RIDGEWAY,
APPROX. A.(B-C)(B-D) MILES FROM THE POST,
AS THE CROW FLIES AND IS NOT BEYOND A GATE.
Hint: THIS CACHE IS BEST DONE WALKING AWAY FROM IVINGHOE BEACON.
