Located adjacent to Oak Flat Picnic Ground, take I40 east thru
Tijeras Canyon, turn south on Highway 14, go about 5-6 miles, and
turn into Oak Flat Picnic Ground.Park vehicle in picnic ground
parking lot and proceed on foot about 1/2 to 3/4 mile. This puts
you just outside the picnic ground area. This is a level ground,
pine forest area and is easy to reach. The cache is hidden inside a
cairn comprised of a number of large rocks that hides a 24 ounce
type water bottle with a large lid so that contents can be easily
removed. The cairn of rocks is about 20 inches high and about the
same in width. The cairn lays on flat grassy ground.
