So, you’ve decided that Murrumbidgee Meander I is too far downstream, and Murrumbidgee Meander II is too far upstream! Well here’s your chance! Murrumbidgee Meander III is smack in between both! And, as per the theme, the idea behind this cache is the same – you meander along the river taking in the great views, getting some fresh air, and perhaps going for a dip! There is a well defined path nearly all the way, so going should be pleasant.
Warning, there are cliffs nearby, and due to the 2003 bushfires, some of the terrain is still unstable! You don’t need any rock climbing skills for this one if you choose the right path (leave the walking trail about 300m before the cache), but do be careful! Oh, and one last thing – at the start, stay high, else your geokiddies (or yourself for that matter) may be in for a rude shock! Happy Meandering!
