Wash For Supper Traditional Cache
Lowtread: I have searched the area thoroughly and cannot find any trace of the cache or its installation. Since the creation of the original cache was relatively time consuming and tedious, I think I'll let it go. I'm not up to making another one. Thanks to all who participated in the hunt. It was fun while it lasted.

On Huntington Dr. just east of Los Robles. Typical commercial/residential, suburban terrain.
The Pasadena area is crossed by dozens of flood control channels, the best known of which are the Arroyo Seco and Eaton Washes. But there are others. This is the Alhambra Wash, which rises below Raymond Hill (the site of the historic Raymond Hotel) and winds seven miles southeast, through Almansor Golf Course, past McKinley School in San Gabriel, and then joins the Rio Hondo at Whittier Narrows. As it goes through San Marino, a good part of the wash is either under ground, or flowing unnoticed behind homes. This cache is located at a spot where you can view the mighty Alhambra Wash in its salad days.
Although the cache is on Huntington Dr., you’ll have to enter a narrow frontage road to park. There is no parking permitted on Huntington Dr. If you miss it, you’ll have to drive around the block, and – traffic being what it is – the detour could take a while. If you’re lucky, you can park less than 10 feet from the cache.
This log-only cache is on an easement between an office building and a private home. RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY. There’s no need to trespass, climb fences, crawl into the wash, dare traffic, or tear up the shrubbery. Oh, and bring a pencil.
