Geocache Description:

This is a cache for team Hot Cup Of Cold Fish. They have been so generous in everything they have done since joining this hobby. Their second, third, fourth and fifth caches hidden were all dedication caches honoring some of the Conejo cachers. We didn't want to wait until they reached 1000 finds to honor them (but that one will be special) so this cache will honor them into the three digit club. Thanks you guys for being such great human beings!!! There are two ways to approach this cache. The trail runs from the end of Kimber drive by Cypress school, to a cul de sac off of Del Prado by Sycamore school. If you go by way of the Sycamore school route, your journey will be shorter, but steeper and less scenic. I recommend parking at the end of Kimber and picking up the trailhead there. It will be about 1 1/2 miles round trip. This is a 1 1/2 star terrain the whole way except the last 350' where you will gain 125' of your total 500' elevation gain. Look for black sage, sticky monkey flower, wild canterbury bells, wild cucumber, deer grass, and new yucca blooms. Also keep a sharp eye out for gopher snakes, California kingsnakes, racers, southern pacific rattlers and whiptail lizards, all seen on this trail. The theme is fish, please stay with the theme. Enjoy your walk! Update 12-30-14 A year and seven months after the Springs fire, and there is still no new growth to rehide the ammo can that got cooked. So I have downsized the cache to a small cache, and camouflaged it to match the surroundings.
