Mountain View Traditional Cache
AZPAUL: I stopped by to check out the cache and I found the container broken in 3 or 4 pieces and since it was a custom made container I have decided to archive the one. It had a good run and besides civilization is encroaching on the area, I fear this area will soon be engulfed in houses like on the other side of the highway.

Micro container with log sheet only, so bring your own writing stick. Packing within 50 ft of cache. Nice easy desert terrain. Elevation=3427 ft.
Mountain View is located on the access rd. of I-10, just few miles SW of Vail/Wentworth exit.
History: In the 30's and 40's the section of access road was the Benson Hi-way. There was a Diner and Gas station located there and you can see the ruins of this business from the cache site. At one time it was a major gas stop for travelers going east to Benson and south to Sonita.
It was called Mountain View because just about any direction you look you will see mountains.
East are the Rincon Mtns., ESE you can see the Dragoons, and the Whetstones. South you have the Empire and Santa Rita Mtns. WSW are the Sierrita's. West lay the Tucson Mtns. NNW Tortolita Mtns and N. are the Santa Catalina Mtns.
Enjoy the views.
The no log = no find rule applies here, also there will be no hints given as this one is just to easy.
