Geocache Description:

1.5 difficulty for the math :) Note that each leg is its own math problem.

The coords. are for parking. From there you will want to walk to the library and find the date by the door. Add all of the numbers of the year date together (SUM) and use the following guideline to solve for the next stop.
X = ((SUM)*37)+17
Y = ((SUM)+11)*10
Now go to N39 17.X W085 13.Y

You will now find yourself in front of the store building John Gauck moved into in 1901, he added a line of drugs, paints, glass, groceries, queensware, woodenware, dry goods, notions and wallpaper, making it a first-class General Store. Locate the street address and use the following formula:
X = (Y*2)-180
Y = (ADDRESS#)+395
Now go to N39 17.X W085 13.Y

You are now in front of a church (one of many). This structure has been built in many phases over many years. The convent was built in 1928 (now the rectory), the church was built in 1858 with the bell being donated in 1892. There is a statue in front of the church; please note the older date. Please convert the numbers of the date to letters (ie 1945 A=1, B=9, C=4, D=5).
Now go to N39 17.B3[D-C] W085 13.[B/2]0[(A+B)-D]

This building was built in the Neo-Classical style by William Gutzwiller in 1922. It memorialized World War I veterans and was paid for by the citizens of Batesville. You will see two benches with numbers. Please note the bench with the Ripley County Post number.
Now go to N39 17.8[SUM] W085 13.[A-B][C-B][A+D]

The German Methodist Church was built here in 1891. To the left of the church was the small English Methodist Church. The two merged in 1925. You will notice two sets of dates here. You will need to use both.
X = ((Larger Date - Smaller Date)*21)+5
Y = ((Larger Date + Smaller Date)/10)-3.7
Now go to N39 17.X W085 13.Y

This building was constructed in 1909 by John and Frank Meyer. Look for the iron works plaques. What city did they come from?
Greensburg --> Go to N39 17.917 W085 13.431
Evansville --> Go to N39 17.927 W085 13.331
Shelbyville --> Go to N39 17.954 W085 13.465
Cincinnati --> Go to N39 17.932 W085 13.310
Newpoint --> Go to N39 17.905 W085 13.418

Feel free to walk around or just take a load off. You will find a date in which a time capsule will be opened. You got it! This date will unlock the following position:
N39 17.[A+D][C-(A+D)][SUM] W085 14.[B*4][A-D][A*3]

Follow these to the final cache.

The cache will contain a log, pencil, some trade items (small).
