Swamp Thing Traditional Cache
Nebjockey: Well, I made it back from the "Great White North", and I've checked the cache. Unfortunately, while bedding and other signs of homeless camping can be found all along the trail and at the cache site, the cache can not be found.
It appears that the situation with camping in this area will not resolve in the near future, so it is with heavy heart that I'm archiving Swamp Thing. Thank you to everyone that hunted the cache!

This cache takes you to Minthorn Springs, an 8.5 acre forested, shrub and open water wetland surrounded by suburban, industrial and commercial development. The trails are unpaved and unmarked, and if its been raining your feet might get a little muddy.
The cache is a small, 4" plastic container. There's a first finders certificate, along with a Sacagawea dollar, some Hagar the Horrible cards, a Grateful Dead dancing skeletons patch, and the log book.
Near a suburban shopping center is one of Milwaukie's hidden treasures, Minthorn Springs. Shoppers and other traffic pass by, more often than not without noticing it.
