Located in Lake Rogers Park, a Hillsborugh county park situated off of Gunn Highway in North Tampa. This cache, which is located along the same trail as a few other caches, is a lock -n- lock container with room for a log book and small trade items. Please be sure to snap all tabs shut and BYOP.
Lake Rogers Park opened in March 2000. The 272-acre park, a joint venture between Hillsborough County and the City of St. Petersburg, is located on Gunn Highway north of Erlich Road. Natural features within the park include two fresh water lakes, pine flatwoods, and oak hammocks.
Lake Rogers Park, as well as other County Parks, is a sanctuary for birds and wildlife.
Facilities at Lake Rogers Park include picnic shelters, picnic tables, nature trails, barbecue grills, fishing and canoeing. The park is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily and is closed for Christmas holidays.
Dense tree cover may affect your final GPS readings so of course you may have to use your geocaching intuition to find the actual cache. Please be sure to conceal the cache well when you rehide it. Have fun on your trek around Lake Rogers!
