Where a = the answer you get when you take any number, multiply it by 100. Then subtract the original number. Add the digits. If that sum has more than one digit, add those digits together and continue doing that until you get a single digit answer.
b = four less than the next number in this pattern:

x= follow the order of operations to solve:
3 cubed divided by 3 minus 16 minus a negative fourteen.
y = pi^0 (pi to the zero power)
z = take a number, add six. Multiply the sum by 2. Subtract the original number. Subtract the original number again. Subtract 8.
