Located on the Spirea Nature Trail in Golden Ears Park
Choose between a 10 minute stroll or an 60 minute walk in a deep woods setting. The cache is located along the Spirea Nature Trail in Golden Ears Park. The trail has excellent signage along the way, and points of interest are clearly marked in several languages. The trail is also rated as Universal Access, meaning that it is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The day I placed the cache, a deer wandered in an open area not far from me, and a chipmunk chided me for walking in his forest. Or it may have been the hawk I heard screeching above the tree tops that he didn't like.
The cache is a grey plastic ammo can. The cache is 30 feet south of the actual co-ordinates. Cache location was hard to get a lock, so I settled for a different spot for the good readings.
The theme of the cache is "camping items", things you could use while camping in the park. Please keep your trades within the theme of the cache.
Gates are closed from 11.00 PM to 7.00 AM, so no night caching between those hours.
