Tampere University of Technology was found in 1965. There are over 10 000 students and 2 000 post graduate students studying in this place.
The coordinates will take you to the main building. Near you is the tunnel to Festia and next to it is standing the first building in Hervanta, Konetalo. When you look over the parking lot, you can see Sähkötalo and Tietotalo.
There is a small item at this point telling you the coordinates. It contains only the last numbers because there are much academic muggles around :-). Other numbers are same as in this first point, the bigger number is part of the N-coordinate and smaller belongs to the E. The point has some high buildings nearby, so it is recommended to use a map instead of GPS.
Tampereen teknillinen yliopisto on perustettu vuonna 1965. Vuoteen 2003 asti sen nimi oli Tampereen teknillinen korkeakoulu, kunnes nimiuudistus vei muutti nimeä akateemisempaan suuntaan. Koulussa opiskelee yli 10 000 tekniikan ylioppilasta ja yli 2000 jatko-opiskelijaa.
Koordinaatit vievät sinut päätalon viereen. Siitä menevä putki johtaa Festiaan ja sen vieressä voit nähdä Konetalon. Parkkipaikan yli katsellessa näkyvät Sähkötalo ja Tietotalo, joissa allekirjoittanut vietti suurimman osan opiskeluajastaan.
Kätkön koordinaattien viimeiset numerot löytyvät pienestä esineestä, joka on tässä pisteessä. Se sisältää vain kolme viimeistä numeroa molemmista koordinaatesta paikan akateemisen jästipitoisuuden vuoksi :-). Muut numerot ovat samoja kuin ykköspisteellä, isompi numero kuuluu N-koordinaatille ja pienempi E:lle. Pisteellä ei korkeiden rakennusten vuoksi kannata käyttää GPS:ää vaan karttaa.
