Geocache Description:

Can be reached by all vehicles. Nice paved road. Slight walk off road to get to cache. Good cache for kids and those not doing a marathon in the near future.

After coming down the winding road to get into this valley or if on the way up, this is the perfect place to stop and reflect on how much history is involved in this area. To read up on some of that history here is a link (visit link) .
Since tupperware is not the best container type for the desert environment, this cache is somewhat of a cookie tin (more tall than wide). There's room for small items and a grid logbook. On the logbook, please list your geocaching name, where you're from and the date. Just curious where everyone is from who visits. Please watch out for the critters in the area and drink lots of water. Thanks for coming out.
