Doughball: This cache has been muggled several times so I'll look for a more secure spot in the area of the spillway and have a Canal Heritage - Waupecan Spillway II published as soon as I can.

This will be a series of caches highlighting the heritage of the I&M Canal. All caches will be accessible from the trail and access points along the trail
This location along the I&M Canal was an area where a spillway was located to discharge excess water. The original structure is gone a a modern structure is in it's place. The Illinois river is just to the south of the canal. This area may be heavily used so watch out for mugglers.
1. Geocache is placed on Department managed property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items,inappropriate,offensive, or hazardous materials.
3. It is the visitors responsibility to orient themselves with policies and rules pertaining to this Department managed site.
