Wolcott Historical Mill is one of the area Metroparks on 2500 acres of beautiful wooded land by the Clinton River. The terrain is slightly hilly in some areas, but all on clear grassy paths . Not difficult to walk, No park pass is required to this park! No fee!!Parking is at entrance on Kunstman Road only.
The event will start at the Historical Mill with a Geocache 101 event planned at 10 am for anyone interested in learning about caching or with questions. Gary from MiGO will present this program. There will be extra GPS units for newbies to test out at the event.
After this program at noon a pot luck will be held near the gazebo. Bring a dish to pass. Hot dogs and condiments will be provided. Bring your own beverage, No alcohol allowed at the park.
There will be a meet and greet session to meet new and "old" cachers. There will be many prizes.
There will be about 8 caches. The coordinates will be passed out after the pot luck.
Please register and also let me know what you will bring to the pot luck.
