50 cal ammo box located in White’s Woods. About 1.6 mile round trip. Open during daylight hours. Many possible trail heads. I recommend the gas well road at the gate on North 12th Street. Other possibilities are Collage Lodge and University Farm.
This is my 3rd hide in White’s Woods. I have posted a map to help if you can read maps! I recommend starting at the gate on N. 12th St and following the gas well road until you see picnic tables at the top of the hill. Why not pack a lunch! Take the trail to the left at the picnic tables. This will get you started in the right direction. The trail runs down through a peaceful and naturally beautiful valley. You can continue on the same trail after finding the cache. The trail will loop around and return to the gas well road.
White’s Woods along with the University Lodge and University Farm provide miles of trails on 500 acres for hiking, mountain biking and skiing. The area is open to the public during daylight hours.
