Update: We will be set up at the Timber Ridge Pavilion!
The listed coordinates are for the park entrance.
We will be meeting at Timber Ridge Pavilion in the park. The plan is to perform clean-up activites until approximately 1 PM and then return to the shelter for Hot Dogs and other refreshments (Hot dogs and drinks will be provided). If you would like to bring a dish to share, please feel welcome to do so, though it is not a requirement.
After lunch, feel free to either continue clean up efforts in and around the park or you can visit several of the nearby caches.
*
This is intended to be a "rain or shine" event, so if it looks like rain, please bring an umbrella and/or poncho.
*
If you have an FRS radio bring it along, as it will make it much easier to communicate. Tune to FRS-2
*
Trash bags will be provided. It is advised for those attending to bring work gloves and/or trash pokers.
I'd like to give special thanks to Oakland County Parks not only for assistance with this event, but for their great support of Geocaching and the Michigan Geocaching Organization. Be sure to visit the Oakland County Parks website including their geocaching page. Be sure to participate in the annual Cache Bash running from July 4 - October 31!
