Geocache Description:

The cache is a hide-a-key container.

When I was young, one of the favorite pastimes of our family was to park near the end of the runway at Hartsfield Airport and watch planes take off and land. It was cheap entertainment and we all enjoyed it a lot. Of course, with security as tight as it is these days, it’s impossible to get that close to any major airport.

As we were driving near McCollum Airport in Cobb County one day, I noticed that there was a good bit of airport traffic. I found this nifty vantage place with a great view of the runway and figured we might have Geocaching buddies who would enjoy it, too. Snag the cache and take a little time to watch the “birdies” fly. We hope you'll enjoy it, too.
