Geocache Description:

Nice short walk that is also an adventure in sure-footedness.

Cache is a micro, you'll have to bring your own pen to write with. It is hidden on a lot that not many realize the city of Springfield owns. Lot is full of all kinds of stuff for the adventurous cacher: looooooong grass to catch your feet, weeds that intertwine in case the grass doesn't get you. Sticks, piles of chopped up trees, some trees (to help get the proper the gps coverage), trash, old metal fence, etc. Actual ground is kind of uneven, so watch your step. I did not see any glass, but please be careful as there were people living in the field last summer until the city cleared the brush and chopped it up. Piles of those chips still remain there (it's the least of your worries). I tried to hide this one to challenge you. So, think a little out of the ordinary micro. If you need an extra hint, please write! It's best to not park on "Q" Street as that's quite busy, try the side street.

Please have some CLASS and replace the cache just as you found it so as not to spoil it for those that follow.

Coordinates were taken several times, with up to 10 satellites being tracked. But, I never could get it to clock down to the exact spot when I set the point of interest. SO....once you get it down to 5-6 feet, you're probably very close. I used the average of the coordinates I took, so figure there could be 1-2 seconds off either way. If you're able to get great coordinates, please post them!
