Geocache Description:

Not the prettiest cache around and a concept that would not be published under the current rules. For 5 yrs and 3 months cachers were forced to see three McDonalds and trade/leave a toy. Thank you to all who have left toys. From here forward leaving a toy is just a suggestion and a good way to get rid of them.

This 3-stage cache takes you to all 3 McDonalds in Woburn. Two stages are micro caches (magnet and key holder) that give you coordinates of the next stage. The final stage is a plastic container. To claim this cache as a find you MUST go to all three stages. At the last you SHOULD leave/exchange a McDonalds toy and (if you can) post a picture of it and your GSPr or you and the toy at a McDonalds in your log.

With our drive through society thriving, one of the best examples of marketing to the kids is McDonalds’ Happy Meals. These boxes started in 1979 and have grown to be a key part of our consumer society. There are thousands of these toys for sales on EBAY and collector clubs all around the world. As I go geocaching I seldom find a box without at least one McDonalds Happy Meal Toy inside.

This tour of Woburn’s 3 McDonalds will have looking for magnet and key holder at the first two; don’t worry there are signs to help you find them. At the third one there is a old fence and some blacktop near the cache.

You should drop or exchange a McDonalds toy to claim the find. If you don’t own a McDonalds toy or have not retrieved one from another cache, don’t worry; they sell them at McDonalds everywhere.
