Geocache Description:

Not up a gum tree, but you'll have to find a Gum Tree to start this cache off! This is a simple, two stage multi-cache.

Find the Sweet Gum at the given co-ords, and on the ground will be a numbered sign with a double digit number in yellow.

X = Sign - 7
Y = Sign - 8

The cache is at N35 53.8X8 W79 01.6Y1

This full sized cache is placed off a Nature Trail, part of the North Carolina Botanical Gardens. The Gardens themselves have limited opening hours, but for this cache *no need to enter the Gardens*, just the Nature Trails which are open Dawn to Dusk daily year-round.

Lots and lots to see on the Trails and in the Gardens (including a Maingray micro cache!).

Ammo-box, waterproof if closed properly.

Various kid-themed starting swag, please trade up if possible!

The trail to get to the cache is very kid friendly, lots of resting places and things to see. With the final stage coordinates, the trail to take is pretty obvious. Not a long walk, but some uphill. Three year old tested! ;) See picture for a trail map.

I was going to call this "Stinky cache" on account fo the VERY nearby location of the CH sewage treatment works here. I have smelt this lovely umm "odour" from this trail before, but the day I placed the cache no smell at all, so I decided to keep the name more pleasant sounding :) Seems very wind dependent.

***Congratulations to The Alethiometrists for the FTF!!!***
