While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located at the "Port Sheldon Sports Complex" accessible from Port Sheldon, 8am-10pm. This cache is for trading Mctoys for something better.

The Port Sheldon Sports Complex is also know as the "John Vander Wal Family Complex". John Vander Wal grew up in this area playing baseball for Hudsonville High School and then Western Michigan University before going to play in the major leagues. He played in the majors from 1994 until last year, 2004, when he retired. There are a number of baseball diamonds and Soccer fields located here. This park is usually REALLY busy or empty.

The 2 biggest complaints in Geocaching are that every cache is a micro and that they only contain crummy Happy Meal toys. Well heres your chance to trade those crummy toys for something better. Silly Willy loves those toys, especially the dolls. I'll keep this ammo can well stocked with lots of kid friendly items to trade for.

Please approach this cache from the North side. There is a parking lot very close to it accessible from Port Sheldon street. Some of the logs are reporting being on the wrong side of the creek. If you are on the wrong side of the creek you are trespassing. From the parking lot go around the pond on the east side. The west side is "No Trespassing" and clearly marked as such.
