Geocache Description:

Elevation: 1242 Container: SASO362 Approved Ammocan A short hike, mowed most of the way, great place to run the dogs.

You will be looking for an OD green ammocan, originally it had a few animals inside, some fluffy, some not. A logbook, two ink pens, and a Geocaching.com sheet. The walk is less than 250 feet and mostly level. Missy, Pup and I come out here pretty regular for a little puppy relief action.

The traffic is very heavy on Centennial so be careful where you park, we usually park in the bottom of the ditch or at the flood dike entrance. Do not drive on the flood dike, the city has no sense of humor about that! Do not park along Centennial close to Cloud, there have been too many spectacular car and truck crashes there, I would recommend not walking in that area as well. This cache is best passed on during rush hour traffic, just too dangerous of an area between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM.

A few times Missy has spooked out a red fox and the chase is on. I have seen several red fox along here at night and frequently they will be scavenging through the trash along the Interstate. He must have a really good hidey hole along the creek, as when he goes over the bank, the chase is always over. Have fun!
