Geocache Description:

This is a small ammo can located just off a nature walking trail in one of Searcy's city parks. Tree cover may give problems with reception. This park is open until dark each night.

MCD-Mark Clement Daniel, aka. markrocks. Mark was a fantastic young man that loved life and loved geocaching. He was your typical 13 year old boy who loved to run, jump, and climb on anything and everything. Yet, Mark was a little "different". Mark had a neurological disorder called Asperger's syndrome. Asperger's, sometimes dubbed "the little professor syndrome," is a mild form of autism with a curious medley of characteristics: narrow, sometimes obsessive, interest in particular subjects; average to sky-high intelligence; verbal adroitness; difficulty coping with change; clumsiness; unusual sensory perceptions; and - most evident to peers - striking social ineptitude. The vast majority of sufferers are boys.

Mark, along with his mother Topkitty98, really got into geocaching. Almost every weekend they would jump into their jeep and head off to hunt down another hidden treasure.

Mark died on October 24, 2004, but will live forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. This cache is dedicated to him with the hopes that others, even though they may never have actually met him, will become aware of what an outstanding person he truly was.

NOTE: Because Mark loved rocks, I have included in this cache a bag of smooth, polished rocks(I'll always make sure there is an ample supply). It is my hope that everyone who finds this cache, whether you trade items or not, will take one of these rocks. Carry it in your pocket or purse, place it on a table or shelf, but each time you look at it, remember this great young man and think, "Mark rocks".

NOTE:07/04/06-I placed some Markrocks geonickels in this cache today. Even if you have found this cache before, I encourage you to come visit again and grab one of these coins for your collection. I'll try to keep an eye on the cache and make sure that it always contains some coins, but if you find the coins are running low, please state it in your online log.

******Congratulations ice cream man -- FTF 5-9-05 ******
