A classic cache located in a special place.
The original Woodchuck Hill cache was muggled in early April 2007. The cache has been moved and co-ords have been updated. Terrain and diff ratings are up to reflect the new location. This is the eyeseeit family's first hide and it is very special to our family. This place is a haven for a band of wiley woodchucks that we look for every day and have become "friends" with. If you are not willing to take the time to re-hid the cache as well as you find it please do NOT hunt this hide. Cache is now a 5X5X8 Lock n' Lock. The old hide became a victim of its success. A well worn SOGA (signs of geocaching activity) trail likely made the cache obvious to muggles and it was lost. Be very careful in the area of the hide. There are many large burrow holes in the ground and a misstep could cost you an ankle. Do NOT hunt this one in the dark. This cache gets its name from the primary inhabitants of this little area. We see them as we drive past along the major road to the south of the cache. There is ample street parking in the residental neighborhood immediately to the north as well as commercial parking at the office building to the west. You will likely not encounter a woodchuck on your approach to the hide as they sense your footsteps and scamper underground before you can get close.
The cache contails a log book and an assortment of cache trash trinkets.
