Geocache Description:

A nice walk or bike ride on an old coal railroad bed.

This cache is located on the South Hill Recreation Way in Ithaca, NY. The trail is a 3.30 mile recreational trail built on an abandoned railroad bed. The trail runs through beautiful wooded areas with many creek crossings and small gorges in the City’s watershed. Small parking areas are provided at Juniper Drive and Burns Road. If you bring bikes, do the whole trail ... it's flat and fun! The cache is an ammo box.
