“OHIO SPIRIT
QUEST”
The Ohio Spirit Quest series of geocaches will
take you to a number of historic cemeteries built by Buckeye
Pioneers. This series is inspired by and a continuation of the
Indiana Spirit Quest caches created by Six Dog Team. In just over
three years, the SPIRIT QUEST has grown to over 550 caches, with
the hiding teams growing as well. The Ohio Spirit Quest has begun
to grow with seven current hides in one Northwest Ohio county, with
four current caching teams, three each with A Man and His
Dog... and one with A Woman and her Dog. Over 1,000 cachers have logged over 25,000 finds. One cache
machine found 111 ISQ caches in a single day (daylight hours
only).

”Attack of the Hoosiers"
This is our third incursion across the
border. Listen to what the SHADOW has to say:
Welcome to Boisher
Cemetery, Florence Township, Williams County,
Ohio.
This spot really messed
with my sense of direction. The road runs NW to SE. The markers
are, of course, facing directly east. After there, wandering around
a bit, you turn and think, who moved the road?
That's a really strange
feeling.
This is an out-of-the-way
little cemetery; Very secluded and peaceful. There are no nearby
buildings. It appears to have started as a family cemetery and is
no longer active. The earliest legible marker is dated June 13,
1862. I'm sure there are some that are older. I located John &
Anna Boisher's grave, whom the site is possibly named for. Several
Millers are here as well. I never located any veterans markers, but
as we all know, that doesn't mean there are none here. .---THE

in the ground. As always, please be respectful, and cache in,
