"Located off of Jumpers Hole Road in Millersville, this 288-acre park offers a variety of natural and recreational activities including hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing and picnicking.
Picnic tables and grills for picnicking are located throughout the park. There are two large pavilions available for rental by large groups. Kinder Farm Park has a large playground and tot-lot ideal for children of all ages. The park has a 2.4 mile paved perimeter trail and several miles of natural trails."
Join us at 11am for a day of fun including caching, talking, eating, and friendship. We'll also have a brief "business" meeting to go over what's happening with the MGS. Several new caches will also be placed for the event.
The event is FREE, and EVERYONE is welcome! Please bring a dish to share (post a "Will Attend" log if you're planning to come, along with the dish you plan to bring.) Entry to the park is $5 per car, so consider carpooling. Pets are welcome, provided they are leashed. The event will be rain or shine! It's a good idea to put the event on your watchlist in case there are any updates.
edit 5/14: Stopped by the park today and got coordinates for the pavilion. There is no electric at the pavilion so plan accordingly. There are 4 grills.
edit 6/9: There are several caches placed for the event. They will be approved after the picnic is over and print-outs will be available at sign-in.
