Geocache Description:

This cache was I come Alive After Five. Take Little Jones Creek Road about 6 miles until you come to a meadow on the right. Your destination is the top of the small peak to your right. Park at N 41* 50.034 W 123* 46.651.

This cache was at one time at the strait between Lake Earl and Lake Tolowa. I thought I had it above the high water water mark but evidently not so as Windspirits emailed me and said that someone found it floating in the lake. He was kind enough to drop it off where I work and so I am placing at a higher elevation. Let's just say that if it is found floating at this location we're all in trouble.

As I was driving up here the snow covered mountains to the east reminded me of the scene that I saw a couple of years ago when my family and I were driving through the Grand Tetons, hence the name.

I have an idea, given the weather conditions at this location that the plastic box that houses the cache will not last, so I'll be replacing it this summer with a metal container. Enjoy the view, and take a picnic lunch. You can look down on your vehicle less than a 1/4 mile away.
