Only about 150 yards from parking, down an asphalt path, however cache is not wheelchair accesible.
This is a 5 X 5 X 2 " tupperware style container.
This little park holds the both the Erie extension canal lock #10 and the Raisch Log Cabin.
Lock #10 is was a stone lock built in 1839 and is the last remaining lock on the Erie extension canal.
The Raisch log cabin, built before 1810, was discovered in 1977 when a house built around it on East State Street in Hermitage was being razed.
This cache is located along the Shenango river. Within a short distance of this cache, Phishermen have caught Rainbow trout, Muskie, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Rock Bass, Northern Pike, Catfish, Sunfish and Bluegill and Carp. There is also a handicap accessible fishing area a short distance from the parking area.
