We're going to go for a short walk here. I'm the tour guide for
your visit and I would like to show you a few things we are very
proud of around here.
We're going to start off here at Cartersville's Flame of
Freedom. Write down the date it was dedicated - March Ex, xBxC.
Now turn to your right as you are facing the courthouse. Do you
see the monument in front of you? The next dates you will need are
on it. The conflict dates are xxDx-xHxx. Be sure and read the
Dedication on it.
Now go to the nearest corner of the courthouse and find the
cornerstone with the date in the left upper corner "AD - xxAx"
where it was "Laid with Masonic Ceremonies".
Now look diagonally across the front of the courthouse where
there is another monument. Take the time to read all sides on it.
The person this monument is dedicated to died Sept xF, xxxJ. Next
subtract 1 from the number of terms in Georgia Legislature for "G"
and add 1 to the number of terms served in National congress for
"I"
To find the cache you will plug the numbers you found into N34
AB.CDE W084 FG.HIJ
Take some time to walk around the rest of the courthouse and
enjoy the peaceful setting and history around you and above all -
Have fun!
