This cache is located at a particularly pretty spot on the Lester-Amity cross country ski trail. Actually in the area are many trails (be prepared for confusion and frustration!). While skiing I like to stop here and look out over the Lester River and the surrounding valley.
By walking along several different ski trails, you should be able to get reasonably close to the cache. Access to these trails is possible from various places along the Seven Bridges Road (East Skyline Parkway). Other than for a short distance near the cache, there should be no reason for extensive bushwacking.
As these trails are used extensively in the winter and then limited only to skiers, this cache will not be available during ski season.
The cache is a small (8 oz) plastic container painted dark green. Because of its size there is a limitation as to what and how much can be put into it. Although I put in a few stubby pencils, you may want to bring your own writing instrument. However for the FTF, there is a choice from among various items.
