Geocache Description:

Easily accessible small cache on a footpath

The cache is located on the outskirts of Whitchurch-on-Thames, a pleasant small village with many footpaths in and around the village. There are several other caches nearby. The cache is a small plastic container 10 x 15 x 8 cm (4 x 6 x 3 inches) that contains the usual collection of trinkets. If you are going to leave something, please make it small. Nearby points of interest include a maze built by a group of local residents. The bricks have names of many of them engraved, including some cats and dogs. You can find it at N51 29.575 W001 04.764. At the centre is a human sun dial. In the the field across the road from the cache you will see a large herd of alpacas. If you walk east you will find, just before the end the "tunnel", an interesting sight behind the fence. At the end is the entrance to Bozedown Vineyard, see BozedownVineyard. Take a look at their site for free wine tastings on Saturdays and Sundays.
