This is an old cemetery, off the beaten trail!
This is the second in our Cemetery Series!! Remember, cemeteries are not tourist attractions, so, treat with reverence! Some REALLY OLD resting places here, one lady was 104 years old and that was almost a hundred years ago!
WATCH THE SIGNS, don't go up the private road, head toward the cemetery. There is a sign pointing you in the right direction.
Check out some of the folks who are resting here...The Brown family, the Maynard family, the Cooper family, the Johansen/Johnson family, the Purviance family, the Dieu family, the Houck family, the Savage family, and the Moa family. The Eavs family has a beautiful old wooden cross for a headstone, the Woodman's have a wooden plank for a headstone.
Check some of them out on Google to get some local history.
You don't need to walk on any graves to find this one! Watch for low-hanging limbs, though!
