This cache is located near Catoosa Oklahoma just off state highway 66.
The cache is not difficult to find but you may have trouble with the GPS signal because of the cover overhead.
You will encounter some elevation change and vegetation. You do not need to park on the highway. There is a road to park on between Route 66 and the cache, and the highway will be well above you. If you see cars parked in the area, the occupants are likely fishing. The cache contains several items for trade. Please re-hide it from non-geocachers. All you Route 66 travelers, bring your travel bugs. I request that if you take a travel bug you also leave one.
4/22/2023 Hid a new container in a new location. Should be out of the way of any flowing water, and even less likely to be discovered by wandering muggles. You bugs should be safe here. Sorry, there is abundant poison ivy in these woods. Expect elevation changes and any sort of crawling or slithering pest.
