See the river dive underground. Path to the site is a jeep trail, and is easy walking. A heavy tree canopy restricts GPS accuracy. Forest undergrowth, especially near the cache, is fairly light. Take repellant.
NOTE: 2017-01-08, a new cache was installed without the original cache being found. If you happen to find the original cache -- a 1-gallon cylindrical plastic jar painted camo green, and the contents are reportedly waterlogged -- please remove it and dispose of it properly. Thanks! Cache is a camo-painted Planters peanut jar. It is anchored with string and a clasp. This cache is in the Aucilla Wildlife Management Area (Aucilla WMA), and during deer and turkey seasons the area where the cache is located is a still hunt area. Other types of hunting or trapping are not allowed in this area.
