START at : N 28° 43.589 W 017° 49.379 elev. 1888 m. This
is the startingpoint for the hike to Pico de la Nieve at elev. 2238
m. From its flat top there is a great 360° view !

From Pico de la Nieve the path towards Refugio de los
Roques at elev. 2070 m. follows the cumbre/ridge surrounding
the Caldera de Taburiente, often offering you spectacular
views onto the clouds gathered inside the Caldera. And - of course
- into the Caldera itself.
Beside the spectacular views you also pass a historical site
with rockcarvings, which may date back several thousands of years:
