Geocache Description:


En cache i en central men ändå rätt okänd och ”gömd” del av Uppsala. Parken och omgivningarna är trevliga strövområden och används för rastning av hundar. I området finns flera intressanta byggnader med anknytning till astrologi, meteorologi och geologi. Vissa av byggnaderna används fortfarande för Uppsala Universitets verksamhet. Tyvärr har en del av de speciella observatoriebyggnaderna börjat förfalla.

Du kan parkera vid N 59’ 51,560 E 017’ 37,016 till en kostnad av 2 kr/timmen (gratis på helger).

Cachen är en transparent burk med skruvlock. Den innehåller endast loggbok och penna.

English summary:
A cache in a central but rather unknown and ”hidden” part of Uppsala. There are several old observatory buildings on the site. Some of them are still in use by Uppsala University. Unfortunatly there are some traces of vandalism on the old and somewhat peculiar buildings. More information can be found at: (visit link) (visit link)

The cache is a transparent screwtop plastic can, approximatly the size of a film container. It contains only logbook and pencil.
