Geocache Description:

What's a hike in Mission Trails without a new cache placement?! This one's at the far north end of North Fortuna, with a fantastic view.

Out for a nice loop around the north end of MTRP, we placed this cache shortly after I'd found cache #300. A good place for a rest on your way up to the summit, or to take in the view on the way down. Cache was started with half a dozen dinosaurs, and a pair of compact binoculars. The replacement cache (05/12/06) is a small ammo can.

A bit of rockhopping required in the last 50 feet or so, on bunny trails off the main trail. You can approach from over the top of North Fortuna, from the Oak Canyon side, or from Suycott Wash or Sheperd Canyon on the west.
