Seckar Woods is a local nature reserve with excellent paths. In one or two areas they may be too steep for push chairs. There is an opportunity to link this cache with "The Golden Thumb" and "Haw Wood"
The above co-ordinates are not for the cache but for suggested parking.
To complete this cache you will need to find "Along Broad Cut", "Betty Eastwood Memorial Park" and a further micro in Seckar Woods.

Once you have the full set subtract 33 from the North and 117 from the West. Off you go!
Although a dedicated car park is signposted, it is rarely open. There are other individual parking possibilities but the suggested one provides the better walk. From the parking head back along the A61 towards Wakefield (northish) and the entrance to the woods is about 300 yards on the left.
Seckar Woods Local Nature Reserve is a beautiful old woodland once owned by the Wentworth family of Woolley Hall. Today, after opencasting in the 1940s, the site is a mixture of dry heath, wet heath and woodland habitats, rich in wildlife.
The dry heath is a sea of purple heather in late summer, while unusual mosses and sedges grow in the wet heath, making this one of the five Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in the district. Please keep to the footpaths and respect the wood.
I would be interested in comments on the accuracy of the co-ordinates as there was a good deal of fluctuation probably due to the tree cover.
This cache has now gone missing four, nay five times so I have moved it to a new location. This time the co=ordinate clues remain the same although you will need to do a wee sum.. Almost makes this a new cache. Please, please, please rehide very carefully, I don't want to lose it again!
