Victoria Regina Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

mccambjd: As Morissey once famously said: "the Queen is dead, boys..."

After redshar's DNF, I came out to look at the construction. On the way there bumped into Horn229.

Sure enough, the cache is probably buried under a few tons of rubble. Sorry!

The Queen is dead! Long live the Queen!

Geocache Description:

A short walk along a small creek into the suburban wilderness to find a 0.50 cal ammo can in honor of the greatest Queen the British Empire had ever known. The terrain's not all that difficult till the last 30 m or so...

"Long ago life was clean
Sex was bad and obscene
And the rich were so mean
Stately homes for the lords
Croquet lawns, village greens
Victoria was my queen."

--Victoria by the Kinks

Her Majesty Queen Victoria was Queen of the United Kingdom from 20 June 1837 and Empress of India from 1876 until her death on 22 January 1901. Her reign lasted more than sixty-three years, longer than that of any other British monarch.
