Dredge Pipe Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MartianRabbit: I am leaving the area, and this cache could be missing. There is a letterbox at the same location. Someday history will find it. It was a good hide! Thanks to those cacher's who took the time to find it! MartianRabbit

Geocache Description:

Located in the Shollenburger Park. This loop is a nice walk to watch the wild life and to check out the river. Bring a Pen or Pencil.

When you see the old Dredges slowly pumping out the silt and mud, you now and then see the remnants of this long time means to keep the channels open for boats and ships. The old pipes sometimes become damaged and unusable, and some have been abandoned in place, or piled in heaps near the dredging operations of long ago. Here you see such remnants and find a cache hidden amongst the old pipe. You are looking of a key Float with my usual trade items, and a log. Enjoy your walk and the other caches out here too. Magneto's Bridge, Alman Walk, Adobe Creek, FlatWake, and River Walk. MartianRabbit
