Questo cache e' il primo di una serie di cache a tema che riguarderanno
alcune delle torri costiere della Sardegna.
Fatte costruire durante la dominazione spagnola dal re di Spagna, intorno al 1500, le torri servivano per l'avvistamento di navi e per la difesa dalle incursioni barbaresche.
Per arrivare alla torre di Foghe occorre attraversare il paese di Tresnuraghes, seguire le indicazioni per la chiesa campestre di S. Marco e da qui proseguire ancora per circa 3 km verso la costa.
Dal parcheggio e' possibile raggiungere facilmente la foce del rio Mannu e una piccola spiaggia.

This cache is the first of a series from cache to theme, that involves some of Sardinia's coast towers, that built approximately 16th century during the Spanish reign of the king of Spain, the towers served for the security and
defense from the barbaric raids.
To arrive to "Torre di Foghe" it is necessary to cross the country of "Tresnuraghes" and then to follow the indications for the rural church of "S.Marco" and from here to still continue for around 3 km toward the coast.
From the parking place it is possible to reach the outh of the Riu Mannu and a small beach.

Dieser cache ist das erste von einer Reihe von cache zum Thema, das einige der Küstentürme Sardiniens betrifft, die während der spanischen Herrschaft vom König von Spanien um das 15.Jhr. gebautwurden die zur Sicherheit und Verteidigung von barbarischen Überfälle dienten.
Um zum "Torre di Foghe" zu gelangen muß man das Dorf "Tresnuraghes" durchqueren und dann dem Hinweis zur Feldkirche "San Marco" folgen und von
hier noch ungefähre 3 Km zur Küste fortsetzen.
Vom Parkplatz aus kann man die Mündung des "Rio Mannu" erreichen, wo sich ein kleiner Strand befindet.
